EGX ends Wednesday mixed
The market cap value shrank by EGP 2.1 billion

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session on a varied note amid foreign selloffs and local and Arab purchases.

The main EGX30 index went down by 0.2% to end at 10,929 points.

Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 index climbed by 0.47% to 1,801 points, while the EGX100 index rose by 0.26% to 2,661 points.

The equal-weighted EGX50 index edged down by 0.08% to settle at 1,932 points.

The market cap value shrank by EGP 2.1 billion to close at EGP 609.212 billion.

Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 67.8 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 59.32 million and EGP 8.5 million, respectively.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.01 billion after 345.28 million shares were traded through about 38,250 transactions.
