DFM closes Wednesday up; market cap gains AED 810m
The real estate sector led the risers

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up by 0.35% or 8.03 points to settle at 2,301.13 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.

A total of 296.39 million shares were traded through 5,688 transactions valued at AED 356.45 million.

The market cap value rose by AED 810 million to AED 319.59 billion, compared to AED 318.78 billion during the previous session.

The real estate sector led the risers with 1.99%, while the services segment topped the decliners with 0.49%.

Ithmaar Holding came on top of the rising stocks with 14.91%, while Mashreq Bank headed the losing stocks with 4.93%.

Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 43.91 million shares, while Emirates NBD recorded the highest turnover of AED 70.75 million.
