UAE markets end Thursday's session in green zone
The benchmark index of the DFM rose by 0.85%

UAE - Mubasher: The main indices of the UAE markets closed Thursday's trading session on the green territory.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 0.85% or 19.74 points to settle at 2,320.87 points by the end of Thursday's trading session, recording its highest level since March.

A total of 554.56 million shares were traded through 6,212 transactions valued at AED 1.45 billion.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.91 billion to AED 321.5 billion, compared to AED 319.59 billion during the previous session.

The services sector led the risers with 1.58%, while the consumer staples segment topped the decliners with 1.37%.

Ithmaar Holding came on top of the green zone with 12.59%, while Dubai Refreshments headed the red zone with 4.97%.

Ithmaar Holding posted the highest trading volume of 115.21 million shares, while Emirates NBD recorded the highest turnover of AED 1.09 billion.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange 

The main index of thr Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.12% or 5.27 points to end Thursday at 4,505.33 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 902.54 million after 220.84 million shares had been traded through 2,206 transactions.

The market cap value rose by AED 13.78 billion to AED 678.78 billion, compared to AED 665 billion during the previous session.

The energy sector headed the gainers with 2.58%, while the banks segment topped the losers with 0.65%.

Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) led the rising stocks with 7.41%, while AXA Green Crescent Insurance came on top of the losing stocks with 5%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 207.52 million, while Aldar Properties posted the highest trading volume of 65.86 million shares.
