UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) is hosting Founder Institute global startup accelerator programme for the first time in the region in AREA 2071, the innovation ecosystem in Dubai, to support startups specialised in various technology sectors, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Through the programme, startups in Dubai are provided with opportunities to develop innovative projects and present them to the world by working with international institutions, applied laboratories, investment companies, and innovators.

A total of 25 startups benefit from Founder Institute's global startup accelerator programme in Dubai to implement projects across 20 sectors, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, digital currencies, educational, as well as financial and legal technologies.

These startups were selected according to a comprehensive evaluation process from over 300 applications from around the world.

The Head of AREA 2071, Maha Al Mezaina, commented that AREA 2071 enables the participating companies to interact with multiple government and private sector entities in the UAE to explore future opportunities.
