DFM gains 21 pts on Wednesday
The market cap value increased by AED 1.91bn

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.93% or 21.24 points to settle at 2,285.46 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.

A total of 207.83 million shares were traded through 3,488 transactions valued at AED 199.26 million.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.91 billion to AED 317.72 billion, compared to AED 315.81 billion during the previous session.

The real estate sector led the risers with 0.59%, while the investment and financial services segment topped the decliners with 0.60%.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co (Aman) came on top of the rising stocks with 12.62%, while Arabtec Holding headed the losing stocks with 4.85%.

Arabtec Holding was the most active stock with 102.76 million shares traded at AED 63.66 million.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) led the rising blue chips with 2.38%, while Dubai Investments topped the losing blue chips with 0.84%.
