ADX ends Thursday down; market cap loses AED 5.49bn
The energy sector came on top of the losers

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down 0.52% or 23.41 points to settle at 4,466.82 points by the end of Thursday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 323.84 million after 119.85 million shares had been traded through 2,200 transactions.

The market cap value retreated by AED 5.49 billion to AED 665.23 billion, compared to AED 670.72 billion.

The energy sector came on top of the losers with 1.85%, while the telecommunications segment headed the gainers with 0.36%.

Eshraq Investments led the losing stocks with 5%, while Sudatel Telecom Group (SDTL) topped the rising stocks with 8.11%.

International Holdings recorded the highest turnover of AED 72.39 million, while SDTL posted the highest trading volume of 27.97 million shares.

Dana Gas led the losing blue chips with 2.08%, while Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) topped the rising blue chips with 0.36%.
