Egypt-Belarus trade exchange hits $45.7m in H1
Egyptian exports to Belarus retreated to $13.9 million

Cairo – Mubasher: Bilateral trade between Egypt and Belarus reached $45.75 million during the first half (H1) of 2020, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Tuesday, citing the Belarusian Ambassador to Egypt, Sergei Terentyev, as saying.

Trade exchange between the two countries declined slightly due to the repercussions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, he added.

Egyptian exports to Belarus retreated to $13.9 million in the January-June period from $18.9 million.

However, exporters succeeded in increasing some exports such as dried and packaged vegetables, grapes, aromatic and medicinal plants, plastic products, medical supplies, and synthetic fabrics during the first seven months of the year.
