Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices closed Sunday’s trading session on a varied note with the main EGX30 index rising by 0.18% to 11,071 points.

Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI dropped by 0.42% to 2,014 points, while the EGX100 EWI retreated by 0.21% to 2,921 points.

The EGX50 EWI increased by 0.24% to end the session at 2,095 points.

The market cap value advanced by EGP 3.9 billion to close at EGP 624.77 billion on Sunday from EGP 620.84 billion on Thursday.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 2.26 billion after 347.16 million securities were exchanged through about 40,840 transactions.

Local investors were net sellers with EGP 9.6 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 1.9 million and EGP 7.7 million, respectively.
