Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Export Council for Printing, Packaging, Paper, Literary, and Artistic Works reported a 20% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its exports, registering $550 million during the first nine months of 2020, compared to $458 million, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Tuesday.

The performance of exports improved largely with lifting coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, propelling exports to $96 million in September, up by 85% from $52 million in the same month a year earlier.

During the July-September period, exports of printing and packaging materials grew by 88% to $270 million from $144 million in the prior-year period.
