Cairo – Mubasher: The net profits of Juhayna Food Industries surged by 31.87% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 383.74 million in the first nine months of 2020, compared to EGP 291 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.

The company’s sales retreated to EGP 5.719 billion in the January-September period from EGP 5.791 billion in the year-ago period, according to a bourse disclosure on Thursday.

In addition, the standalone financial results showed net profits of EGP 91.93 million in the nine-month period ended 30 September, down from EGP 126.3 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.

During the first six months of the year, Juhayna posted net profits of EGP 231.707 million, up from EGP 179.640 million in the same period in 2019, including minority shareholders’ rights.
