Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has ample strategic reserves of medicines and sanitisers enough to handle a second wave of coronavirus infections, Ali Ouf, Head of the Pharmaceutical Division of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, told the Middle East News Agency (MENA) on Thursday.
The country’s reserve of medicines is sufficient for the next nine to 12 months, Ouf revealed.
He expects pharmaceutical sales to increase by 10% to EGP 85 billion by the end of 2020 from EGP 77 billion in 2019.
