Saudi, foreign, GCC ownership on Tadawul down in week
Saudi ownership on the Saudi bourse dipped by SAR 86 billion last week.

Riyadh – Mubasher: The value of shares owned by Saudi, foreign, and Gulf investors on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) slumped during the week ended on 22 October 2020.

Saudi ownership on the Saudi bourse dipped by SAR 86 billion to SAR 8.857 trillion in the previous week, representing 97.29% and 85.02%, respectively, of issued and free shares, according to Tadawul’s weekly report.

As for foreign investors, ownership plunged by SAR 368.585 million to stand at SAR 203.579 billion, representing 2.24% of issued shares and 12.68% of free shares.

Meanwhile, ownership of strategic investors edged up by 0.44% to SAR 40.04 billion.

Moreover, GCC investors’ ownership reached SAR 42.90 billion by the end of last week, a decrease of SAR 529.631 million when compared to SAR 43.43 billion a week earlier, representing 0.47% of issued shares and 2.30% of free shares.
