Dubai – Mubasher: Aramex has appointed Thomas Kipp as the company's new Chief Operating Officer (COO), according to a press release on Monday.

With more than 25-year experience in logistics, e-commerce, and management consulting in Europe, Asia, and North America, Kipp will supervise Aramex’s global operations and business development.

The new COO will contribute to enhancing the company's operational efficiencies, which is in line with the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Before joining Aramex, Kipp has served in Deutsche Post DHL Group (DPDHL) for around 15 years.

Kipp was the executive vice president for Corporate Incubations at the DPDHL before becoming the executive vice president of Strategy and Business Development for Post, e-Commerce, and Parcel (PeP).

In addition, he occupied CEO positions across the company’s e-Commerce and Global Mail divisions.
