Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by around 0.50% or 10.95 points to close Monday's trading session at 2,166.51 points.

Around 154.25 million shares were exchanged through 2,328 transactions valued at AED 132.6 million.

The market cap value recorded AED 307.087 billion.

The consumer staples sector led the decliners with 3.35%, followed by the insurance and transportation segments with 1.84% and 1.26%, respectively.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co (Aman) headed the losing stocks with 4.92%, while National Central Cooling Co (Tabreed) topped the rising stocks with 5.96%.
