Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Customs Authority collected EGP 3.094 billion in customs duties, taxes, and charges at Port Said during September.

The total value of taxes and customs duties collected for imported goods at Port Said reached EGP 509.87 million during September, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday.

Additionally, the value-added taxes (VAT) and other charges imposed on these goods amounted to EGP 2.585 billion during the month, the statement showed.

The imported goods included wheat, legumes, and maize.
