Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, announced the appointment of Amr Mohamed Mahfouz as a CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) for a one-year term, according to a statement on Wednesday.  

In July, Mahfouz was selected as an acting CEO of ITIDA and Assistant Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

The CEO has an extensive experience of more than 33 years in the communications and information technology sectors as he held several leading positions at IBM.
