Riyadh – Mubasher: Basic Chemical Industries Company (BCI) gained SAR 14.76 million in net profits for this year’s third quarter (Q3), down by 26.5% from SAR 20.07 million in the same period a year earlier.

This decline was due to higher income tax expenses and lower sales and other income, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.

Revenue for the three-month period ended on 30 September was down by 18.6% yearly to SAR 115.16 million.

During the period from January to September, the net earnings grew by 1.4% annually to SAR 45.14 million.
