Egypt’s gold prices return to gains on Tuesday
Gold prices rose by EGP 4 per gram

Cairo – Mubasher: Gold prices in Egypt returned to gains on Tuesday after crashing on Monday, following the announcement of promising COVID-19 vaccine results by Pfizer. 


On Tuesday, gold prices rose by EGP 4 per gram, but still EGP 30 lower than the prices recorded last week. 


Nady Naguib, Secretary of the gold division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), said that the 21-karat gold registered EGP 820 per gram on Tuesday from EGP 816 a day earlier, while the per-gram prices of 24- and 18-karat gold increased to EGP 942.5 and EGP 705, respectively.
