UAE registers AED 4.1bn trade surplus with Arab countries
The UAE registered around AED 67.69bn trade with the Gulf countries

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE recorded a AED 4.1 billion trade surplus with Arab countries during the first half (H1) of 2020, according to the latest data by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA).

The total value of the UAE's exports to the Arab countries reached around AED 39.141 billion in the January-June period of 2020, accounting for 26% of the total trade.

Meanwhile, the UAE's imports and re-exports amounted to AED 34.988 billion and AED 76.875 billion, respectively.

Meanwhile, the UAE registered around AED 67.69 billion trade with the Gulf countries, while the UAE's trade with other Arab states reached nearly AED 48.3 billion.

Saudi Arabia topped the UAE's Arab trade partners with AED 46.6 billion in H1-20.
