UAE stock markets end Sunday's session on positive note
Al Madina for Finance and Investment topped the green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets recorded a positive performance by the end of Sunday's trading session.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market went up by 0.27% to end Sunday's trading session at 2,269.13 points.

A total of 117.39 million shares were exchanged through 2,039 transactions valued at AED 115.04 million.

The market cap value recorded AED 320.257 billion.

Al Madina for Finance and Investment topped the green zone with 14.86%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) headed the red zone with 5%.

Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 23.27 million shares, while Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 25.85 million.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by 0.33% or 15.94 points to settle at 4,871.84 points by the end of Sunday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 328.61 million after 111.28 million shares had been traded through 2,371 transactions.

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Co (ADNIC) led the rising stocks with 12.75%, while AXA Green Crescent Insurance came on top of the losing stocks with 5%.

Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) recorded the highest trading volume of 22.04 million shares traded at a total value of AED 31.09 million.
