Egypt names monorail station as 1-Ninety
The 22-station monorail will extend for 56.5 kilometres

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) signed an agreement to name one of the under-construction monorail stations as 1-Ninety, a real estate project in New Cairo by Landmark Developments.

The agreement was signed by the President of NAT, Essam Abdel Qader, and the CEO of Landmark Developments, Amr Soltan, on the sidelines of the third edition of the Smart Transportation and Logistics Fair and Forum for the Middle East and Africa (Trans Mea 2020), according to a statement on Tuesday.

The 22-station monorail will extend for 56.5 kilometres from the Stadium Station in Nasr City to the New Administative Capital.

The property developer paid EGP 90 million to make the station hold the name of 1-Ninety for 30 years.

The 1-Ninety project is a fully integrated mixed-use development, spaning over an area of 300,000 square metres.
