UAE stock markets end Wednesday in green zone
The benchmark index of the DFM went up by around 0.57%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets closed Wednesday's trading session on a positive note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by around 0.57% or 13.7 points to settle at 2,413.20 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

A total of 436.47 million shares were exchanged through 6,147 transactions valued at AED 440.56 million.

The market cap value rose by AED 1.65 billion to AED 335.71 billion, compared to around AED 334.06 billion during the previous session.

Ithmaar Holding led the rising stocks with 14.83%, while Al Madina for Finance and Investment topped the losing stocks with 3.85%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.85% or 41.85 points to end Wednesday's trading session at 4,989.12 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 438.28 million after 105.95 million shares had been traded through 3,251 transactions.

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Co (ADNIC) topped the green zone with 14.89%, while Commercial Bank International (CBI) headed the red zone with 4.93%.
