Cairo – Mubasher: Deputy Minister of Egypt’s Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and head of the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA), Ibrahim Ashmawy, said the ITDA aims to provide more than 80% of the commercial register and brands-related services electronically during the first half (H1) of 2021.

Four commercial register services have been activated so far on Egypt’s digital portal in an effort to help service seekers obtain services easily, Ashmawy said a statement on Thursday.

He further revealed that the commercial register concludes around 2.2 million transactions annually, highlighting that a protocol will be signed with the National Postal Authority to deliver the documents requested to applicants’ homes.

In addition, an array of electronic services will be provided through the ITDA website, he noted.
