Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) extended its gains on Thursday for the fifth consecutive session after inching up by 0.05% to 8,693.47 points.

A total of 487.460 million shares were traded via 502,971 deals at SAR 13 billion.

Energy grew by 0.38% while banks added 0.23%. On the other hand, materials and telecommunication services levelled down by 0.18% and 0.30%, respectively.

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group topped the rising stocks with 7.48%, whereas Tourism Enterprise Company (Shams) headed the falling stocks with 7.96%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Company led the trading activity through the exchange of 29.055 million shares, while Abo Moati for Bookstores Company achieved the highest turnover of SAR 699.317 million.

Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) dropped by 2.25% to close at 19,785.21 points.
