Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) extended its losses on Wednesday for the second consecutive session after levelling down by 0.32% or 27.99 points to reach 8,694.13 points.
The market’s turnover stood at SAR 11.79 billion while the trading volume reached 357.240 million shares.
Energy and materials slipped by 0.07% and 0.17%, respectively, while banks and telecommunication services went down by 0.33% and 0.75%, respectively.
Saudi Arabia Refineries Company (SARCO) led the winners with 10%, whereas Anaam International Holding Group headed the losers with 9.93%.
Methanol Chemicals Co. led the trading activity after exchanging 17.702 million shares, whilst Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. generated the highest turnover of SAR 649.7 million.
Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) dropped by 2.93% to close at 19,254.74 points.
