Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green territory on the back of Arab and local purchases.

The main EGX30 index edged up by 0.06%, ending the session at 10,683 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 1.68% to 2,055 points.

Similarly, the EGX100 EWI advanced by 1.37% to 2,974 points, whereas the EGX50 EWI rose by 0.88% to 2,147 points.

The market cap value grew by EGP 1.7 billion to close at EGP 638.549 billion.

Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 6.4 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 14.3 million and EGP 6.4 million, respectively.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 987.09 million after 506.418 million shares were exchanged through 35,267 transactions.
