Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities is implementing several projects in Sinai at a cost of EGP 19.23 billion, including EGP 14.37 billion and $310 million, during fiscal year 2020/2021.

Three seawater desalination plants have been established in Arish at a combined capacity of 20,000 cubic metres per day and a total cost of EGP 349 million, according to a statement on Wednesday. 

In addition, the fourth seawater desalination plant in Arish is currently being built with the first phase projected to have a capacity of 100,000 cubic metres per day and a cost of EGP 1.552 billion.
