Cairo – Mubasher: Gold prices in Egypt continued its upward trend on the back of the increased prices of the precious metal globally.
The 21-karat gold rose to EGP 848 per gram on Wednesday, while the per-gram prices of 18- and 24-karat gold grew to EGP 726 and EGP 950, respectively, Nady Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), told Mubasher.
In addition, the price of the gold pound reached EGP 6,700.
