Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi bourse’s benchmark index, the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), closed on Thursday up by 0.77% to settle at the level of 8,737.20 points.
Turnover reached SAR 8.47 billion where around 256.246 million shares were traded.
The energy and materials sectors added 0.29% and 1.47%, respectively, transportation rose by 0.45%, and banks and telecoms gained 0.74% and 1.26%, respectively.
Alujain Holding Corp. was the top riser with 8.47%, whereas Al-Samaani Factory For Metal Industries Co. came on top of the fallers with 7.11%.
Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. was the most actively traded stock on all levels through the exchange of 17.535 million shares at a turnover of SAR 730.89 million.
Moreover, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) slipped by 2.44%, reaching 24,437.30 points.
