UAE - Mubasher: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has opened its seventh centre offering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, as part of its vaccination campaign against coronavirus (COVID-19).

The seven DHA centres for the COVID-19 vaccine include Al Safa primary health care centre, Zabeel primary health care centre, Al Mizhar primary health care centre, Uptown Miriff medical fitness centre, and Hatta Hospital, according to a press release on Sunday.

By adding a new centre for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, DHA seeks to meet the expected increased demand for vaccination in the coming period.

DHA's vaccination campaign gives priority to the first three categories, including elders, people with chronic diseases, frontliners in the public and private sectors, and vital-sector workers.

The vaccination will be allowed to the fourth category in the near future.
