Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is currently establishing several oil refineries and projects in Greater Cairo, Alexandria, Assiut, and Suez with investments of $7 billion, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El-Molla, revealed.
El-Molla stressed on the importance of upgrading oil refineries and directed companies to expedite the implementation of the digital transformation programme for operating oil refineries to achieve the best operational results, according to a statement on Monday.
The minister headed the general assemblies of public-sector oil companies, including Cairo Oil Refining Company, Assiut Oil Refining Company, Suez Oil Processing Company, and El-Nasr Petroleum Company, to approve the budget for fiscal year 2021/2022.
