UAE stock markets maintain upward performance on Wednesday
The benchmark index of the DFM went up by 0.74%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.74% or 20.15 points to settle at 2,721.30 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.

A total of 218.13 million shares were traded through 4,115 transactions valued at AED 316.18 million.

The market cap value rose by AED 2.21 billion to AED 359.88 billion, compared to AED 357.67 billion during the previous session.

Ithmaar Holding led the rising stocks with 5.68%, while Al Salam Group Holding topped the losing stocks with 3.96%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by around 0.62% to close Wednesday at 5,290.72 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 415.09 million after 82.30 million shares had been exchanged through 2,448 transactions.

The market cap value rose by AED 3.22 billion to AED 753.41 billion, compared to around AED 750.19 billion during the previous session.

National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels headed the green zone with 11.11%, while Al Buhaira National Insurance Co (ABNIC) came on top of the red zone with 4.68%.
