Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) returned to gains at Monday's trading session, rising by 0.64% or 56.39 points to settle at 8,931.29 points.

The market’s liquidity amounted to SAR 10.2 billion and the trading volume reached 332.268 million shares.

The energy and materials sectors added 0.35% and 0.1%, respectively, banks rose by 0.76%, and telecoms jumped by 4.1%.

On the contrary, consumer durables and capital goods fell by 1.92% and 1.16%, respectively.

Saudi Telecom Company (stc) was the top gainer with 5.44%, whereas Al-Baha Investment and Development Co. was the top decliner with 4.28%.

Methanol Chemicals Co. led the trading activity through the exchange of 23.522 million shares whilst Raydan Food Co. logged the highest turnover of SAR 366.2 million.

At the same time, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) slipped by 0.33% to 25,739.30 points.
