Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session on a varied note as the main EGX30 index was the sole riser with 0.04% to 11,450 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI slid by 0.71% to 2,261, while the EGX100 EWI retreated by 0.73% to 3,250 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI dropped by 1.08% to 2,305 points.

The market cap value fell by EGP 1.5 billion to close at EGP 679.83 billion on Monday, compared to EGP 681.34 billion.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.45 billion after 628.25 million shares were exchanged through around 50,770 transactions.

Local and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 8.46 million and EGP 8.25 million , respectively, while foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 16.72 million.
