UAE stock markets end Tuesday in green zone
The ADX main index rose by about 3.14%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have witnessed upward performance by the end of Tuesday's trading session.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up by 0.99% or 27.21 points to close Tuesday's session at 2,753.44 points.

A total of 321.86 million shares were exchanged through 6,540 transactions valued at AED 6.54 million.

The market cap value rose by around AED 4.26 billion to AED 365 billion, compared to AED 360.74 billion during the previous session.

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co (DU) led the rising stocks with 14.56%, while Orascom Construction topped the losing stocks with 4.98%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index rose by about 3.14% to settle at 5,661.85 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session, recording its highest level in around 15 years.

Turnover amounted to AED 852.87 million after 171.29 million shares had been exchanged through 5,403 transactions.

The market cap value increased by AED 26.74 billion to AED 795.85 billion, compared to AED 769.11 billion during the previous session.

Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) came on top of the green zone with 14.92%, while Foodco National Foodstuff headed the red zone with 4.73%.
