Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Wednesday’s session on marginal losses for the second successive time after inching down by 0.26% or 23.57 points to 8,878.30 points.
Turnover totalled SAR 6.3 billion where about 206.194 million shares were exchanged at 272,795 deals.
Media and Entertainment gained 0.25%, insurance added 0.5%, whereas energy and materials edged down by 0.4% and 0.3%, respectively.
Moreover, banks and telecommunication services dropped by 0.1% and 1.08%, respectively.
Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. came on top of the rising stocks with 5.62%, whereas Arabian Cement Co. led the falling stocks with 3.43%.
Arabian Pipes Co. was the most actively traded stock on all levels through the exchange of 13.979 million shares at SAR 292.4 million.
Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) ended the session on a positive note, adding 1.27% to reach 26,279.48 points.
