Gold gains EGP 2/gram on Thursday
The 21-karat gold grew to EGP 817 per gram

Cairo – Mubasher: Gold prices in Egypt continued its rising trend as the global price increased in anticipation of further stimulus under US President Joe Biden’s administration.

The 21-karat gold grew to EGP 817 per gram on Thursday from EGP 815 on Wednesday, Nady Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), told Mubasher.

Meanwhile, the per-gram prices of 18- and 24-karat gold advanced to EGP 697 and EGP 929, respectively, Naguib revealed.

Globally, gold futures for April delivery rose by 0.16% to $1873.1 per ounce at 11:06 a.m. KSA time, while spot gold increased to $1,870.3 per ounce, after reaching its highest since 8 January at $1,872.35 early in the session.
