Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued a decision to allow people above the age of 16 to open bank accounts without the consent of their parents or guardians.

People aged between 16 and 21 will have limited access to banking services, the CBE said in a statement on Tuesday.

This move is part of the government’s efforts to boost financial inclusion in the country.
