Sipchem announces scheduled periodic maintenance turnaround for some of its Production Plant Units

| Announcement Detail | Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) announces the scheduled periodic Turnaround maintenance on the following production units: Polymers Plant of International Polymers Company (IPC) and Ethyl Acetate plant (EA) of Sipchem Chemicals Company (SCC) both Affiliates of Sipchem, which will contribute to enhance the reliability and production of these plants and allow them to achieve their future operational plans.
The scheduled Turnaround maintenance will commence as below: 1- Polymers Plant on Monday February 1, 2021 for 6 days. 2- Ethyl Acetate Plant on Monday February 01, 2021 for 16 days. This turnaround is in accordance with the IPC and SCC 2021 business plans. The financial impact of this Turnaround maintenance will be announced once the activity is completed and will be reflected in the 1st Quarter of 2021 financial results. The Company has taken the necessary actions to limit the potential impact on its customers. Sipchem will make further announcement in relation to any updates and progress as appropriate. |
