UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have kept their downward performance on Thursday for the second trading session in a row.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) decreased by 1.53% or 41.67 points to close Thursday's trading session at 2,670.84 points.

A total of 167.35 million shares were traded through 2,678 transactions valued at AED 264.35 million.

Emirates Refreshments Co (ERC) led the rising stocks with 14.97%, while Dubai Investments (DIC) topped the losing stocks with 4.88%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down by about 0.19% to settle at 5,664.11 points by the end of Thursday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 488.92 million after 110.78 million shares had been exchanged through 2,971 transactions.

National Takaful Co (Watania) came on top of the red zone with 4.95%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Co led the green zone with 15%.
