Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits of Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) jumped to AED 78.396 million in 2020, compared to AED 72.655 million in 2019.

The company's earned contributions reached AED 157.01 million in 2020, down from AED 206.968 million during the previous year, according to the insurer's financial statements for 2020.

In addition, the company's takaful income decreased to AED 119.108 million last year from AED 162.054 million in 2019.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.78 in 2020, versus AED 0.73 in 2019.

For 2020, the board proposed a cash dividend of AED 20 million at a rate of AED 0.20 per share.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months of 2020, ADNTC's net profits increased by 9% to AED 63.92 million from AED 58.59 million in the year-ago period.
