Dubai – Mubasher: Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Empire Navigation (ENI), a Greek company, to acquire a group of petrochemical and dry bulk carriers.

The acquisition will enable GNH to diversify its investments, enter new markets, and expand its client base, according to a recent press release.

Based in Athens, Greece, ENI owns a fleet of 20 petrochemical vessels and 16 dry bulk ships and specialises in the commercial and technical management of modern oil and chemical tanker vessel.

Under the agreement, both companies will also exchange expertise and offer new job opportunities. 

Meanwhile, the agreement will help GNH to attain a central position in the field of maritime navigation regionally and internationally to raise its revenues and operational profits in the upcoming period.
