Dubai's real estate market sees 15.5% YoY higher sales transactions in January 2021
Dubai's secondary market transacted 2,373 properties

UAE - Mubasher: Dubai recorded 3,300 sales transactions worth AED 6.74 billion in its real estate market in January 2021, up 15.5% year-on-year (YoY) in terms of the number of transactions and 37% in terms of the value.

The number of transactions was shown in the 11th edition of Mo’asher, Dubai’s official sales price index, launched by Dubai Land Department (DLD) in cooperation with Property Finder, according to a press release on Wednesday.

In the first month of 2021, 72% of all transactions were for secondary and ready properties, while 28% were for off-plan properties.

Dubai's secondary market transacted 2,373 properties valued at AED 5.43 billion, the highest number of secondary and ready properties in a single month since March 2014. 

The emirate's sales transactions amounted to AED 3.3 billion in the first week of February.

During the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020, Dubai saw 11,065 sales transactions worth AED 22.07 billion, recording the highest level in 2020.
