Abu Dhabi Maritime, ADNOC inks 5-year deal to boost maritime safety
Abu Dhabi Maritime and ADNOC will exchange information and expertise

UAE - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Maritime has entered into a five-year agreement with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to improve Abu Dhabi's maritime safety, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

Under the agreement, Abu Dhabi Maritime and ADNOC will exchange information, data, and expertise on the management of maritime activities and infrastructure developments across the emirate's waterways.

Hence, this step will enable both parties to execute responsive monitoring, risk-mitigation, business continuity, and crisis management systems through maritime activities, marine traffic, and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on the agreement, the Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Maritime, Saif Rashid Al Mheiri, said: "Working closely with a leading and a highly accomplished national driver of economic activity such as ADNOC, allows our maritime community to optimise environmentally friendly and efficient rules and regulations to govern the safe passage of maritime traffic within our ports and across our waterways."
