SAGO buys 355K tonnes of wheat from Saudi investments abroad
The wheat will be delivered to the Gulf country during May and December 2021.

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) has purchased 355,000 tonnes of wheat from Saudi companies investing abroad, representing 10% of the kingdom’s total annual consumption.

The quantities were awarded to the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), which is owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), through its investments in many countries with comparative advantages in the grain agriculture field, according to a statement on Monday.

The wheat will be delivered to the Gulf country during May and December 2021.
