UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Monday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.98% or 25.41 points to settle at 2,542.62 points by the end of Monday's trading session.
A total of 112.97 million shares were traded through 2,921 transactions valued at AED 200.27 million.
Emirates Refreshments Co (ERC) headed the losing stocks with 4.9%, while Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) topped the rising stocks with 1.9%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.09% to end Monday's session at 5,661.52 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 923.05 million after 151.66 million shares had been exchanged through 3,228 transactions.
Palms Sports came on top of the green zone with 4.58%, while Al Wathba National Insurance Co (AWNIC) headed the red zone with 4.89%.
