UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up by 0.78% or 19.68 points to close Thursday's session at 2,527.48 points.
A total of 153.21 million shares were traded through 3,297 transactions valued at AED 337.89 million.
Al Salam Group Holding led the rising stocks with 14.77%, while Arabian Scandinavian Insurance came on top of the losing stocks with 4.79%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down by around 0.03% to end Thursday's trading session at 5,627.99 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 2.01 billion after 322.37 million shares had been exchanged through 4,123 transactions.
Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) came on top of the red zone with 4.55%, while Emirates Driving Company headed the green zone with 12.35%.
