Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) and the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships (SCISP) signed on Thursday a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) to enhance the private sector’s role in the kingdom’s economic partnerships with countries across the globe.

Under the MoC, the two parties will support joint research and studies, prepare relevant plans and programmes, and serve the business sector by developing opportunities for international partnerships, agreements, and initiatives, according to an official statement.

The deal aims to enhance partnerships between the public and private sectors, attract foreign investments, dismantle investment obstacles and challenges while empowering Saudi investments overseas.

On 9 February, the parties announced launching a joint initiative to enhance the kingdom’s economic relations with a number of foreign countries of shared interest.

Under the initiative, a series of joint workshops will be launched with the aim to foster the kingdom’s economic relations, including trade and investment opportunities with some foreign states.
