TBC launches project to improve potable water quality at Saudi schools
The project will provide 1,200 purification units for five education directorates in KSA.

Riyadh – Mubasher: Tatweer Buildings Company (TBC) has launched a project to install potable water purification and cooling units at school buildings in a number of education directorates across Saudi Arabia, state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

The project, supervised by the Ministry of Education, represents a complete transformation in providing potable water to students instead of traditional methods.

A joint committee from TBC and the education ministry was formed to address the situation, suggest solutions, and estimate the required costs. The committee has provided a complete study based on a comprehensive solution, ensuring the provision of a high-quality cutting-edge product in line with international standards.

The project will provide 1,200 purification units to five education directorates in Al Ahsa, Jeddah, Jazan, Sabya, and Mecca. The units will be distributed on 284 school buildings, serving 213,000 students.
