Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets closed Sunday’s trading session in the green territory.
The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index closed the session up by 0.95% or 24.06 points to reach 2,551.54 points.
A total of 97.38 million shares were traded at AED 155 million.
Emaar Properties gained 2.57% while Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) increased by 0.84%.
In the meantime, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched up by 0.63% to 5,663.62 points, with a trading volume of 134.1 million shares and a turnover of AED 849.14 million.
Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) soared by 2.21%, whilst Agthia Group and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) added 1.19% and 1.11%, respectively.
